The 18thCeremony for the WIPO-SIPO Award for Chinese Outstanding Patented Invention and Industrial Designwas held in Beijing on December 26, 2016;ASK Pharm was awarded aNational Gold Medal forOutstanding Industrial Patents. This medal is jointly recognized by the State Intellectual Property Office of PRC (SIPO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and is the highest national recognition for outstanding contribution to patent inventions and industrial designs. ASK Pharm was the sole winner from Jiangsu Province, and this accomplishment has indicated a significant milestone for the Company in its endeavor for excellence in product research and innovation.Since its founding, ASK Pharm has consistently strategized product innovation and invention as corporate priority, and dedicated significant amount of resources in proprietary products by novel research and development. ASK Pharm has not only passed national certification for enterprise intellectual property management in 2015, but has also been recognized as one of the national model companies for IP management and proprietary products in proton-pump inhibitors (PPIs).
